Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Co. Ltd. (MPPGCL) is a wholly owned company of MP Government engaged in generation of electricity in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It is a successor entity of erstwhile Madhya Pradesh State Electricity Board (MPSEB). The Company, while operating and maintaining its existing units, is also constructing new Power Plants for increasing capacity in the State of Madhya Pradesh. With effect from 01.06.2005 (the effective date) the function of Generation of electricity as specified in schedule A to the Transfer Scheme Rules, 2003, shall be conducted and shall be carried on by Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited as its own business and not as an agent of or on behalf of the Madhya Pradesh State Electricity Board.

Educational Qualification
Graduate Apprentice: Engineering/ Technology Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering from recognised University.
Technician Apprentice: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering from recognised Institute/ University from Madhya Pradesh Technical Education.
Trade Apprentice: ITI in the relevant trade from recognized NCVT/SCVT.
Age limit (As on 01.01.2018): 18 to 25 years
Stipend Details
Graduate Apprentice: Rs.4,984/Month
Technician Apprentice: Rs.3,542/Month
Trade Apprentice: Rs.8,232/Month
Selection Procedure
Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview

Steps To Apply Online:
- Before applying to Online Applicants have valid email & Scanned copies of photo, signature.
- Candidates log on to http://www.apprenticeship.gov.in/.
- Read the information carefully & Click on ""Candidates Registration".
- Complete the Registration & Click on “Submit”.
- After Registration, Log in with Registered Number & Password.
- Fill the all details in the application & upload Photo, Signature.
- Application fee should be paid through Online & then Submit the Form.
- Take a print out of Online application for future use.
