Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing, also known as IIITDM, was established in 2007. It is located in Kancheepuram, Chennai in Tamil Nadu. The college offers around 3 undergraduate courses in Engineering & Technology. Admission to the undergraduate programmes is through the JEE entrance exam which is conducted in the month of April. The results for the same are declared in May. The students who clear the JEE main exam must then appear for the JEE advanced, which is conducted in the month of June. Results are declared in July and classes commence from August onwards.

Educational Qualification:

Assistant Professor Grade II – Ph.D

Assistant Professor Grade I – Ph.D.

03 years after Ph.D or 06 years total (not counting Ph.D. enrolment period) after obtaining M.Tech. degree.

Associate Professor – Ph.D, 06 years after Ph.D or 09 Years total (not counting Ph.DEnrolment period) out of which 03 years should be after Ph.D. Three years at the level of Assistant Professor with AGP of Rs.8000 or its equivalent in 7th CPC at a reputed university, R&D Lab or relevant industry.

Professor – Ph.D, 10 years after Ph.D or 13 years total (not counting Ph.D enrolment period) out of which 07 years are to be after Ph.D.; At least three years to be at Associate Professor level in an institution of repute

Age Limit:

Age limit in case of Assistant Professor Grade II shall be a maximum of 35 Years; 40 Years for Assistant Professor Grade I; 45 Years in case of Associate professor and 50 years in case of Professor. H. Go through IIITDMK official Notification 2019 for more reference

Salary Details:

Assistant Professor Grade II – Basic Pay at the entry level would be Rs.70,900 at Academic Pay Matrix level 10 in 7th CPC

Assistant Professor Grade I – Basic Pay at the entry level would be Rs.1,01,500 at Academic Pay Matrix level 12 in 7th CPC

Associate Professor – Basic Pay at the entry level would be Rs.1,39, 600 at Academic Pay Matrix level 13A2 in 7th CPC.

Professor – Basic Pay at the entry level would be Rs.1,59,100/- at Pay Academic Matrix level 14A in 7th CPC
