Apply Online for 204 Act Apprentices Posts in North Central Railway, Uttar Pradesh on Apprenticeship. Online Applications are invited by North Central Railway from 15 Nov 2018 to 31 Dec 2018 till 05:45 PM for 204 vacancies.
North Central Railway is known as the Workhorse of Indian Railways which spreads across three divisions viz Allahabad, Jhansi and Agra, It extends from Ghaziabad (excl.) in the north to Mughalsarai (excl.) in the east on New Delhi Howarah trunk route and from Palwal (excl.) to Bina (excl.) on New Delhi Mumbai/ Chennai corridor. Rightly referred to as heartbeat of Indian Railways, North Central Railway span over parts of UP, Haryana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh with about 3062 route km. of BG comprising predominately, double line- electrified sections defining the sides and diagonals of the Golden Quadrilateral.

Trades: Fitter : 94 (UR-48, OBC-25, SC-14, ST-07)
Welder (Gas & Elect) : 52 (UR-26, OBC-14, SC-08, ST-04)
Mechanic Machine & Tool Maintenance : 14 (UR-07, OBC-04, SC-02, ST-01)
Machinist : 12 (UR-06, OBC-03, SC-02, ST-01)
Painter : 17 (UR-08, OBC-05, SC-03, ST-01)
Electrician : 12 (UR-06, OBC-03, SC-02, ST-01)
Programming & System Administration Assistant (COPA) : 03 (UR-02, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification
The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 system) with minimum 50% marks and possess essential ITI passed certificate in related trade from a recognized Industrial Training Institute affiliated to NCVT/SCVT.
Note: The candidates who have already completed their training under Apprentice Act, 1961 from any institute/establishment are not eligible to apply.
Age limit (As on 01.12.2018): 15 to 24 years
Relaxations in upper Age Limit:
5 years for SC/ST Candidates
3 years for OBC candidates
10 years for Physically handicapped persons
Training Period and Training Place: Training period will be of one year. Training place will be Wagon Repair Workshop, Jhansi.
Selection Process
The selection of Act Apprentice for training will be done on the basis of merit. There will be no written exam or interview/or exam in this selection.
Merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of total mark obtained in 10th or equivalent examination as well as average marks obtained in ITI by a candidate from recognized educational board/institute.

- Before applying to Online Applicants have valid email & Scanned copies of photo, signature.
- Candidates log on to http://www.ncr.indianrailways.gov.in/.
- Go to "Current Openings" & Select the desired post.
- Read the information carefully & Click on "Apply Online".
- Click on “Click here for New Registration”, if you are a new user.
- Complete the Registration & Click on “Submit”.
- After Registration, Log in with Registered Number & Password.
- Fill the all details in the application & upload Photo, Signature.
