      Kerala Road Fund Board (KRFB) has recently released the job notification to fill up various Administrative posts in Kerala Road Fund Board. As per KRFB job advertisement, totally 11 vacancies are allotted for following administrative positions, like Project Coordinator, Accountant, Clerk, Typist, Office Attendant and Part Time Sweeper.       The Centre for Management Development is a leading self- supporting autonomous institution which provides Research, Consulting & Training support to the Development Agencies, Corporate Sector and the Government, both at the National as well as State Level. The centre was established in 1979, it is sponsored by the Govt. of Kerala as an independent, professional registered society. The management development programme for the State can be achieved only through the initiative of the government and the collective efforts of government, the joint, private and public sector undertakings and universities. A co-ordinating agency to bring all these forces together will have to be autonomous body of some stature. This is the proposed Centre for Management Development.

       At present, courses in business management are offered in the School of Management, University of Cochin, Department of Commerce, University of Calicut, and by some private bodies. Such training imparted by these agencies play a useful academic role. The role of the proposed Management Development Centre will be oriented more towards planned practical training. Its bias will be more towards actual management problems in the State. It is necessary that universities are closely associated with the working of the Centre in the same way as professional bodies like the National Productivity Council and the Management Associations are also associated with the working of the Centre. Such close association is necessary, especially in view of the fact that there is a severe dearth of trained people in the field all over India.

Educational Qualification

Clerk – candidates should have passed +2 and knowledge in computer application.
Experience: one year experience in relevant field.

Typist – +2 passed and having KGTE typewriting English (Higher), typewriting Malayalam (Lower), Word Processing.
Experience: one year experience in relevant field.

Office Attendant – VII Passed and having ITI /ITC Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree.

Accountant – candidates should have passed B.Com and Knowledge in Tally Accounting Software
Experience: 2years experience in Accounting from a reputed Institute.

Part Time Sweeper – VII Passed and having ITI /ITC Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree.

Project Coordinator – PG Degree, Diploma in Civil Engineering, and having knowledge in Computer Application.

Age Limit (as on 01.11.2018)

        As on 01-11-2018 the age limit for the KRFB Clerk, Typist, Office Attendant, and Accountant.
Office Attendant is in between 18 – 36 years.
For Part Time Sweeper posts the age limit is 21 – 40 Years.
For Project Coordinator posts the upper age limit is 50 years.
Typist, Accountant, Clerk is maximum 36 years.

Pay Scale

        The salary offered for the selected candidates is Rs.6000 – 20350/-

Office Attendant posts for General category candidates is Rs.100/- and for SC/ST category candidates is Rs.50/-

Selection Process
