Vacancy Details

     The Total Number for the post for RRC ER is 21 for Sports Person Quota Posts

• Category 1 – 5 Posts
• Category 2-16 Posts

Educational Qualification

     Degree /12th Passed from recognized university or equivalent can apply for the said posts.

Age Limit

     As on the date of 01st January 2019

• Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
• Maximum Age Limit: 25 Years

     The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Pay Scale

Category-1

₹5200- 20,200 + GP ₹2400 or ₹2800 (Corresponding to Level-4 OR Level-5 of Pay Matrix as per 7th Pay Commission)

Category-2

₹5200 - 20,200 + GP ₹1900 or ₹2000 (Corresponding to Level-2 OR Level-3 of Pay Matrix as per 7th Pay Commission)

Selection Process

     The Selection Process will be based on the basis of Interview.

Application Fee

     Job applicants need to pay the below application charges to participate in RRCER recruitment for Sports Persons posts, through Post Office. (IPO Payable at GPO, Kolkata) drawn in favour of “Assistant Personnel Officer (RRC), Eastern Railway, Kolkata”.

• SC/ST/Women/Minorities & EBC Candidates: Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty Only)
• All Other Candidates: Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only)
