Join Indian Coast Guard has circulated new recruitment notification for the post of Navik (General Duty) 10+2 Entry (02/2019 Batch) in the Indian Coast Guard, Armed Force of the Union. It has collected online applications from eligible male Indian nationals for Navik (GD) 10+2 Entry (02/2019 Batch). Qualified male candidates can submit their online application form through Join Indian Coast Guard careers page on or before the last date of 31st January 2019. Candidates who have passed in 10+2 examination with Maths and Physics are only eligible to apply for Navik (General Duty) 10+2 Entry (02/2019 Batch) recruitment. All applying candidates should be born between 01st August 1997 to 31st July 2001. The selection procedure will be made on written examination and physical fitness test. All original documents/ certificates and mark sheets produced at the time of written test. Submit Navik GD online application form from 21.01.2019 to 31.01.2019.
Indian Coast Guard shortly ICG under ministry of Defence protect coastal areas of India. Coast Guard has been servicing to country since 1978. Headquarter has been located in New Delhi, capital of India. ICG jointly works with the department such as Indian Navy, Department of Fisheries, Department of Revenue (Customs) and the central and state police forces. Presently, ICG has more than fifteen thousand personnel, one hundred and sixty five vessels and also sixty aircrafts.

Educational Qualification
Candidate must have qualified 10+2 passed with 50% marks aggregate in total and minimum 50% aggregate in Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Central/State Government.
The minimum marks criteria for the candidates belonging to SC/ST category is 45%.
Age Limit
Minimum: 18 Years
Maximum: 22 Years
Candidates should born between 01-08-1997 to 31-07-2001 (both dates inclusive).
Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Pay Scale
On joining Indian Coast Guard, you will be placed in Basic pay Rs. 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulations.
Promotion and Perquisites
Promotion prospects exist upto the rank of Pradhan Adhikari with pay scale Rs. 47600/- (Pay Level 8) with Dearness Allowance. Promotion to the Officer cadre is subject to suitability and performance.

Physical Standards
Height – Minimum height 157 cms. Reduction in height for candidates from hilly areas and tribal areas will be in accordance with the Central Govt. orders.
Chest – Should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 cms.
Weight – Proportionate to height and age +-10 percentage acceptable.

Apply Mode: Online

- Find the correct notification link for Navik GD Posts and open it.
- Read the notification correctly to check your eligibility for Join Indian Coast Guard Navik GD job Vacancy.
- Eligible candidates fill all mandatory details of online registration form and upload necessary documents.
- Finally, submit your application through online mode till the last date.
The Name of the Candidate, Father and Mother’s name and date of birth should be mentioned as per class certificate.
Indicate exact percentage of 12th class up to two decimals and this was not to be rounded off.
Filling up of information like personal email ID and Mobile number of the candidate were compulsory. The date, time and Centre of the written examination and other information will be informed through Coast Guard Recruitment website www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in
The application provided a choice of only One center for examination. The candidate had to choose Centre from the list mentioned against each state to which he belongs to.
List of Documents
Scrutiny of documents for eligibility will be carried out prior commencement of the written examination. Candidates are therefore required to appear at the examination center with the following documents.
Three copies of pre-filled Online e-admit card with the latest photograph affixed.
Original Class 10th pass certificate and mark sheet.
Original Class 12th pass certificate and mark sheet.
Original Caste certificate (if applicable) /Domicile certificate of their respective state issued by Tehsildar/Sub District Magistrate / District Magistrate.
Proof of identity such as passport, driving license, Aadhar card/ voter I card, Pan card, School/ college ID card or any other photo identity proof.
In case of reserved category applicants, availing age/percentage relaxation, either current or permanent address of online application should be same as the address mentioned in caste/category certificate (SC/ST & OBC). Further, in the case of OBC the category certificate should not be more than 3 financial Years old and for such cases, renewed/fresh certificate to be produced. All OBC certificates shall be ·in original as per Govt of India format (No other format will be entertained}.
Ten recent colour passport size photographs with a Blue background.
