       The focus is to address the challenges faced by the Indian IT industry and growth of the domestic IT market, the Ministry of Human Resource Development(MHRD), Government of India has established Indian Institute of Information Technology Tiruchirappalli on a Not-for-profit Public Private Partnership (N-PPP) basis like 22 other IIITs. A major objective in establishing IIITT is to set up a model of education which can produce best-in-class human resources in IT and harnessing the multidimensional facets of IT in various domains. While the number of students produced would be small, the impact they create would be great.

(a) Electronics and Communication Engineering 01 Post 

(b) Computer Science and Engineering 01 Post 

Educational Qualification

      First class in both U.G. and P.G. level (60% or 6.5/10 CGPA) from the recognized University/Institute and Ph.D. is desirable U.G., P.G. and Ph.D. should be in the appropriate disciplines of ECE and CSE respectively 

Age Limit

For Gen/ UR Candidates

Not exceeding 35 years for M.Tech./M.E. and 40 years for Ph.D.

Salary Details

Temporary faculty

(a) For those with Ph.D. - Rs 50,000/- per month

(b) For those with M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent - Rs 40,000/- per month
