NER Recruitment 2018 745 Apprentice Posts
North Eastern Railway (NER) published Act Apprentices Training Notification for the year 2018-19. NER Recruitment Cell, Gorakhpur invites online applications to fill up 745 vacancies in various units of NERly. Candidates who have eligibility as per NER RRC Gorakhpur Notification may apply online at NER website from November 30, 2018. The Last date to submit the online application is 29.12.2018.
NER will disable the online application link after the stipulated date. So, submit online application form on or before the last date. Before apply for Apprenticeship training, candidates should ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria given in the advertisement. Also be aware of detailed vacancies, stipend, selection process and application process from the advertisement.
North Eastern Railway has invited applications for the 745 ACT Apprentices vacancies. If you are 10th pass having ITI Certificate then it is a golden chance for you to get an Apprentice job and become a part of Railway. North Eastern Railway has notified total 745 Apprentice vacancies for various workshops and division for which you can apply. To apply for the above posts, candidate should be pass ITI as Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, as amended from time to time.
The opportunities are very crucial for the students who have been waiting for the ITI jobs in Railway as 745 posts for the different Workshops and Divisions have been declared by North Eastern Railway for the year 2018-19. The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format on or before 29 December 2018.
In 1875, a 45 mile rail line from Dalsingsarai to Darbhanga reached out to famine affected areas and became the cornerstone in the history of the North Eastern Railway. North Eastern Railway came into existence on 14thApril 1952, when two complete Railway Systems viz. Oudh Tirhoot Railway & Assam Railway and Fatehgarh District of BB & CI Railway were merged into one system and was inaugurated by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru.It stretched from Achnera near Agra in the West to Ledo near the border of West Bengal in the East.

Educational Qualification
Candidates should be 10th standard pass with 50 % Marks and ITI in relevant trade.
He should be ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT/SCVT.
Age Limit
(As on 29 December 2018)
Minimum Age- 15 Years
Maximum Age- 24 Years
(Relaxation will be given for concerned category as per government norms, see the notification in this regards)
Application Fee
Applicants have to pay Processing fee of Rs. 100/- to apply for the post. There are no processing fee charges for Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) / Divyang (PwD)/ Women candidates. Fee can be pay online at the time of submission of online application.
Stipend
During Apprenticeship candidates will be paid stipend at the prescribed rates as per extant instructions.
Selection Process
Selected candidates based on percentage of marks secured in High School Exam/10th examination will be called for document verification. After document verification, the eligible candidates will be invited for medical examination. Documents verification will be conducted at Gorakhpur.
