It has grown from a single unit, small ship repair company, into a multi-unit and multi-product company, with significant rise in production, use of modern technology and sophistication of products. The company's current portfolio of designs spans a wide range of products for both domestic and overseas clients. Since 1960, MDL has built total 795 vessels including 25 warships, from advanced destroyers to missile boats and 3 submarines. MDL had also delivered cargo ships, passenger ships, supply vessels, multipurpose support vessel, water tankers, tugs, dredgers, fishing trawlers, barges & border out posts for various customers in India as well as abroad. MDL have also fabricated and delivered jackets, main decks of wellhead platforms, process platforms, jack-up rigs etc.

Eligibility criteria
Education Qualification
Applicants must be completed VIII/ SSC/ HSC/ Diploma with relevant field from relevant experience from a recognized organization/ Board.
Age Limit
Applicants minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age limit is 38 years as on 01st November 2018 and age relaxation for SC/ ST candidates is 05 years and for OBC candidates is 03 years.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will get pay
For skilled (IDA-6) – Rs.8080/-.
For skilled (IDA-5) – Rs.7575/-.
For semi skilled (IDA-4A) – Rs.7323/-.
For semi skilled (IDA-2) – Rs.6060/-.
For skilled (IDA-9) – Rs.10100/-.
Selection Process
The Written Test consisting of will be conducted for all Trades.
Based on the performance of Written Test & Experience the candidates would be called for Trade Test.
The final merit list would be prepared based on combine marks of Written Test, Experience & Trade Test.

All Other Applicants (ST/SC/PWD): Nil
Pay the Examination Fee through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or Pay Offline Through E Challan.

- Complete the Registration & Click on “Submit”.
- After Registration, Log in with Registered Number & Password.
- Fill the all details in the application & upload Photo, Signature.
- Application fee should be paid through Online & then Submit the Form.
- Take a print out of Online application for future use.
Candidates shall take a printout of the application and must attach self-attested copies of all relevant certificates in support of their age, qualification, experience, caste certificate, defense discharge certificate & driving license along with the application.
