Innovation is the process of turning ideas into manufacturing and marketable form and Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL), an enterprise promoted by Government of Tamil Nadu, has precisely followed this adage. The Unit- I of TNPL at Kagithapuram, Karur district was commissioned in October 1985 with an installed capacity of 90,000 TPA of Newsprint/Fine Paper, in a single machine. Over a period of time, TNPL has added two more paper machines, besides upgrading the existing Paper machine.
The increased production capacity of 400,000 TPA of writing and printing papers has made TNPL as one of the largest bagasse- a residue of sugar cane, as primary raw material, in the world. With an increased demand, the company has expanded the pulping capacity by way of installing new chemical hardwood line, upgrading the chemical bagasse pulp line and setting up a new deinked pulp line besides adopting ECF bleaching in all the chemical pulp lines. Simultaneously, the company has also increased the power plant capacity to meet the steam and energy requirement of the expanded mill.

Educational Qualification
1. Officer (Accounts)/Assistant Manager (Accounts)/Deputy Manager (Accounts)
a. Qualification: CA (or) ICWAI
b. Experience: For Officer (Accounts):- Should have minimum 8 years Of post qualification experience in reputed organizations as on 01/12/2018 For Assistant Manager (Accounts):- Should have minimum 10 years Of post qualification experience in reputed organizations as on 01/12/2018 For Deputv Manager (Accounts):- Should have minimum 14 years Of post qualification experience in reputed organizations as on 01/12/2018 Candidates should have worked in Finance and Accounts Department Of a reputed manufacturing company and should have exposure in the areas Of Project Finance, Resource Mobilization, Cost Control, Payroll and Performance Monitoring - Working experience in an ERP environment with exposure to IFRS is preferred.
2. Officer (Secretarial)/Assistant Manager (Secretarial)/Manager (Secretarial)
a. Qualification: Should be a Graduate and an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
b. Experience: For Officer (Secretarial):- Should have minimum 8 years Of post qualification experience in Secretarial Department Of reputed organizations as on 01/12/2018 For Assistant Manager {Secretarial):- Should have minimum 10 years Of post qualification experience in Secretarial Department Of reputed organizations as on 01/12/2018 For Manager (Secretarial):- Should have minimum 17 years Of post qualification experience in Secretarial Department Of reputed organizations as on 01/12/2018 The incumbent should have good exposure in Company Law, Stock Exchange Regulations, SEBI Guidelines. Should have exposure to latest amendments in Companies Act, 2013. Should be computer literate with good communication skill. Must possess ability to liaise with various agencies like Financial Institutions Merchant Bankers SEBI Stock Exchan e Reistrar & Transfer Agents, etc.
Age Limit
For Officer (Accounts):- Minimum 28 years as on 01/12/2018. For Assistant Manager (Accounts):- Minimum 29 years as on 01/12/2018. For Deputy Manager (Accounts):- Minimum 34 years as on 01/12/2018.For Officer (Secretarial):- Minimum 28 years as on 01/12/2018. For Assistant Manager (Secretarial):- Minimum 29 years as on 01/12/2018. For Manager (Secretarial):- Minimum 37 years as on 01/12/2018.
