     On behalf of the Government of Maharashtra, the Mahila Arthik Vikas Mahamandal (MAVIM) has taken up the cause of overall development of women – half the part of our society. MAVIM has taken tireless efforts for over a decade to initiate, expand and establish the self-help group movement in Maharashtra. The progressive Government of Maharashtra has always supported the cause of women’s empowerment and has from time to time devised supportive policy mechanisms and assure them that even in the future the Government will continue to support them.

      International Women’s Day 2017 was celebrated by MAVIM along with the Dept. of Women and Child Development and Dept. of Rural Development with Anganwadi Sevikas. Hon. Mr. Devendra Fadanvis the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Hon. Ms. Pankaja Munde the Minister of Rural Development and Women and Child Development, Hon. Ms. Vidya Thakur, the State Minister Women and Child Development, Hon. Mr. Dadaji Bhuse, State Minister of Rural Development, Ms. Vinita Singhal The Secretary, Women and Child Dev. Department and Ms. Kusum Balsaraf General Manager, MAVIM were present. During this event the Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra Mr. Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the Portal of Rent a Room for Women; MAVIM’s new Initiative for women. The district team of MAVIM Thane presented cultural performance which was highly appreciated.

     MAVIM has implemented ‘Tejaswini Maharashtra Rural Women Empowerment Programme’, supported by Government of Maharashtra and International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in 34 rural District of Maharashtra from 2007 to 2017. This documentary reflects the achievements of this scheme and transformation that MAVIM has been able to bring in the society.

     IFAD organized a Regional Consultation in the preparation of the third global meeting of the Indigenous People’s forum. The theme of the workshop is Economic Empowerment of Indigenous peoples with a focus on women and Youth. A case story on Ecologically Sensitive Approach to Livelihoods and sustainable approach, which was submitted by MAVIM and the story talks about Lac cultivation of Yeshaswi micro livelihood groups of Chandanmeta village of Gondia District under the Tejaswini Programme supported by IFAD. The above case study has been nominated as one of the best stories at the Asian country level. Smt. Vandana Uikey has participated in the third Global meet as a representation of her group on 22nd -25thNov 2016 at Cambodia. She shared about the economic upliftment gained from this activity.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification

  Applicants must Pass B.Sc/M.Sc/ MMW / MBA/ MS-CIT, Diploma in Computer, LLB/MSW/MMS/PG Diploma, Degree in Statistics from the recognized Organization/Board.

Age Limit

Salary Details

      Selected candidates will get Rs. 37,800/- (Post 1), Rs. 25,800/- (Post 2,3), Rs. 20,700/- (Post 4-6,9), Rs. 12,500/- (Post 7,8), Rs. 16,950/- (Post 10,12,13), Rs. 15,650/- (Post 11), Rs. 22,000/- (Post 14) by the Recruiting Organization.

Selection Process

       Selection of Candidates for Clerk, Assistant, Account Officer posts will be done as per following stages- Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Exam, Computer Test and Interview.
