This SPV named as “Chennai Metro Rail Limited” was incorporated on 03.12.2007 under the Companies Act. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (As on 21.11.2018)
Architectural Expert: Degree in Architecture with minimum 15 years of professional experience in architecture design and planning
Manager (Civil UG): Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 10 years of experience or Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 15 years of experience in the construction field. 5 years of experience in the underground metro station construction and experience in interface co-ordination is desirable.
Assistant Chief Controller: Degree with minimum 15 years of Railway experience, out of which at least 5 years in Control Office as a Controller. The job involves to work in shifts and supervise the controllers on the shift in the Operation Control Centre.
Age Limit
Maximum upper age limit for an architectural expert is 50 years, Managers is 38 years and assistant chief controllers is 45 years.
Selection Procedure
CMRL may follow the following process to select the candidates.
The selection methodology comprises a two-stage process, interview followed by Medical examination. The selection process would judge different facets of knowledge, skills, comprehension, aptitude and physical fitness.
a. Medical Examination: Expenses for the first time medical examination of the candidate will be borne by CMRL. However, in case a candidate seeks an extension for joining, then the second time medical examination expenditure will be borne by the candidate. To & for travel expenses for the medical test shall be borne by the candidate. The candidate who fails in the prescribed medical test will not be given any alternative employment and decision of CMRL is final on this issue.

The Eligible candidates can apply for the post in the prescribed format and walk in for the interview at Chennai Metro Rail Limited with duly filled in application form supported by Bio-Data and one set of self-attested copies of the certificate of educational qualifications, experience, age, community, and latest passport size photograph.
