     Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has invited application for 51 posts of assistant. The registration process has started from October 31 and the last date for the same in November 20. Aspirants can visit the official website of BPSC ie, bpsc.bih.nic.in to check the official notification for the vacancy  in the notification page given below under important links. Last date to deposit application fee is November 23 and the last date to submit the application form is November 30.

Educational Qualifications

     Candidates should have any Degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.


Age limit (As on 01.08.2018)
     21 to 37 years. Age Relaxations in upper age limit:
  • 5 years for SC/ST
  • 3 years for OBC
  • 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s)
  • Others as per govt rules.
Selection process

     The selection process of Assistants will be based on
  • Preliminary Examination (100 marks for 2 Hrs duration).
  • Main Examination
  • Interview
Examination Fee
  • For General/OBC & Other state candidates: Rs.600/-
  • For SC/ST/PH/Women candidates of Bihar State: Rs.150/-
Mode of Payment: Pay through Online Mode or Bank Challan at any SBI Bank Branch
Pay Scale
     The Salary will be Rs 44900/- to Rs.142400/- for Assistant Posts.

     All interested and eligible candidates can apply for this positions in online from 31 October 2018 to 20 November 2018. After successfully submitted, send the hard copy of application form along with required documents to following postal address on or before 30 November 2018.

  • Visit onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in
  • Click on ‘Apply Online’
  • Fill in the registration form
  • Click on ‘Submit application form’ after you have filled in the details
  • Save the user ID and password generated after registration 
  • Log in using the registration ID and password to proceed to payment
  • The link for payment will be active only after 11 am on the day after the registration is done
  • Save the application form for future reference.
  • After successfully submitted, send the hard copy of application form along with required documents to following postal address on or before 30 November 2018.
