     Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) is inviting online applications for the recruitment of ARO, Typist, Assistant Librarian and Translator job vacancies. There are 65 vacancies are allotted for above said posts. Aspirants who are seeking Uttarakhand government jobs can use this chance. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for Uttarakhand PSC ARO, Typist, Assistant Librarian & Translator vacancies through online mode on or before the last date of 31st December 2018.          Candidates must have completed graduate degree in related stream or its equivalent from any reputed university/ institution and must have attained the following age limits 21 years to 42 years. The selection will be made on written examination and followed by interview. Candidates should pay the prescribed fee via online mode. Educational Qualifications

Assistant Review Officer (ARO):

Bachelor’s degree of a University established by law in India or qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.

A speed of minimum 9000 key depression per hour in English Typing would be essential.

Test of basic knowledge of Computer operation shall be conducted, which will include:

(i) Windows and the Internet. 

(ii)M.S Word (iii) M.S Excel (iv) M.S Powerpoint

Translator:

Graduate in any stream with Diploma/ Certificate Course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa from University/Institution, recognized by Government or two years previous experience in Translation works from Hindi to English and vice versa.

Typist:

Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree of a University established by Law m India.

Must possess good knowledge of English typing with a minimum speed of 9000 key depression per hour on the Computer.

Must possess thorough knowledge of Hindi and English and sufficient knowledge of operating Computer.

Assistant Librarian:

Degree in law and Diploma in Library Science from a recognized University.

Basic Knowledge of Computer Operation.

Age Limit (As on 01.07.2018): 21 to 42 years (Relaxations as per govt rules)

Note: Candidates born between 01 July 1997 and 02 July 1976.

Salary Details

Assistant Review Officer (ARO): Rs.44,900/-

Translator/Typist: Rs. 29,200/-

Assistant Librarian: Rs.47,600/-

Selection Process

     The selection process will be based on the Screening/Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Typing Test & Interview.

Assistant Review Officer (ARO): Written Examination (English Language/Hindi Language) & Computer Operation – Practical Examination (Qualifying Nature), English Tying (Qualifying Nature)

Typist: Written Examination (English/Hindi Language) & Computer (Practical/Qualifying Nature)

Translator: Written Examination (Language Paper), Translation and Drafting, Computer Operation – Practical Examination (Qualifying Nature)

Assistant Librarian: Written Examination & Computer Operation – Practical Examination (Qualifying Nature)

For Gen/OBC Candidates: Rs.185.40/-

For SC/ST/ Ex-Servicemen Candidates of Uttarakhand only: Rs.95.40/-

For PH candidates: Rs.35.40/-
