      The New India Assurance Company Limited, or the NIACL has released official notification for Administrative Officer recruitment. A total of 312 vacancies are available for Generalists and Specialists (Company Secretary, Legal and Finance and Accounts disciplines) (scale 1 posts). Online registration for the recruitment will begin on December 10, 2018. Eligible candidates can apply till December 26, 2018. NIAL will conduct exams in January-March 2019. While the first phase exam will be an objective test, the second phase exam will also have a descriptive paper. Candidates can apply at the official website of NIACL at newindia.co.in.

     Candidates applying for NIACL Recruitment 2018-19, should possess essential educational qualifications. The selection process for the Administrative Officer(Generalist & Specialists) posts in scale I Cadre will be done on the basis of NIACL Recruitment 2018-19 will be followed by interview. There will be two Phases in the selection process. Phase-I Online Examination (Objective) which will be organise on 30 Jan 2019, and phase-II Online Examination (Objective + Descriptive) which will be organise on 02 Mar 2019. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Generalists:

Candidate should have possess the minimum qualification of a graduate/post graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examination for General candidates and at least 55% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

Specialists:

Candidate must possess the minimum qualification as follows. The qualification should be from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government.

Company Secretary:

Candidate must possess ACS/FCS from ICSI and Graduation/Post-graduation in any discipline with min 60%.

Legal:

Candidate must be a Graduate/Post-graduate in Law with min 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD).

Finance & Accounts:

Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and Graduation/Post-graduation in any discipline with min 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) Or Cost and Management Accountant (The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, earlier known as ICWAI) and Graduation/Post-graduation in any discipline with min 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) Or MBA Finance/PGDM FINANCE with min 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) Or MCom with min 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD)

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 21 years

Maximum Age: 30 years

Relaxations in upper Age Limit:

5 years for SC/ST Candidates

3 years for OBC candidates

10 years for PWD candidates

Others as per Govt rules.
