NCR Recruitment 2018 703 Apprentice Posts
North Central Railway has invited applications for Allahabad Division for recruitment to the post of apprentice in various trades. Interested candidates can apply to the posts through the online mode only. The online applications can be filled up by 31 December 2018.
Candidates who have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 system) with 50% marks and ITI pass certificate in related trade from a recognized Industrial Training Institute affiliated to NCVT are eligible for applying to the post. Candidate must have completed 15 years and should not have completed 24 years of age. There will be age relaxation for the reserved category candidates as per govt. norms. North Central Railways, in its present form, came into existence on 1st Of April 2003. North Central Railways present network extends over a large area of North Central India, covering the states of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana .
Geographically NCR is the heart of Railway network and extends from (exclusive) in the North to MGS (exclusive) in the east and Bina (exclusive in the South. This network spans over parts of UP., Haryana, Rajasthan & MP. This has a total of 3062 route Kms, predominantly double line electrified section. This route from GZB to MGS is a part of golden quadrilateral. NCR consists of 202 main line stations & 221 branch line stations. This Zone forms a corridor for trains almost directions viz. East to North and North to East a total of 29 pairs of M/Exp. Trains daily West/South to North and North to South/ West total 37 pairs of M/Exp. Trains daily East to SW & SW to East a total of 25 pairs of M/Exp. Trains daily East to West & West to East a total of 12 pairs of M/Exp.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 system) with 50% marks and ITI pass certificate in related trade from a recognized Industrial Training Institute affiliated to NCVT.
Age Limit
Must have completed 15 years and should not have completed 24 years of age.
a) Candidate must have completed 15 years and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 30.11.2018
(b) The upper age limit may be relaxed by five years in case of SC/ST candidates and three years in case of OBC candidates.
(c) For physically handicapped persons, upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years.
Stipend
Stipend will be paid as per instructions issued by Railway Board from time to time.
Selection Process
The selection of Act Apprentice for training will be done on the basis of merit list of the candidates who have applied and are eligible in reference to the notification. There will be no written exam or interview/oral exam in this selection.
Application Fee
A postal order / Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- addressed to Sr. DFM / NCR / ALD as processing fee which is not refundable is to be enclosed with the application form. No fee is required to be paid by SC / ST / PH / women candidates.
How to Apply
Application Mode: Online
1. Applicants will fill their form online on the NCR website www.ncr.indianrailways.gov.in . The applicants will login on NCR website www.ncr.indianrailways.gov.in News and Recruitment Act Apprentice Notification ALD Division and click. On the ensuing window the candidate will click Act Apprentice Notification 2018-19 ALD Division and fill the online form.
2. After filling up the form the candidate will also take a print out of the form and submit the same alongwith attested Photostat copy of High School or its equivalent (under 10+2 system) Marksheet, Certificate, ITI marksheet (all semesters) and ITI certificate issued by NCVT in an envelope and sent to Office of the Sr. Divisional Personnel Officer, Personnel Branch/Recruitment Section, Room No. 112, Allahabad Division North Central Railway, Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh), Pin Code- 211001. The following must be annexed with online printout application in the envelope.
3. The last date of receiving of the complete online printout application form in all respects in the office is 31.12-2018 at 17:45 PM by ordinary post only. The candidates may also drop his/her application in the box on any working day between 10.00 AM to 17:45 PM up to 31-12-2018 in the Office of Sr. Divisional Personnel Officer, Allahabad (Personnel Branch/Recruitment Section - Room No. 112 ) .
4. Precautions for submission of application- The applicant's name, father and mother’s name should be clearly mentioned on the online application form( abbreviations should be strictly avoided). Application without attested copies of SC / ST / OBC / Handicapped Certificate / Educational / Technical qualification certificate will not be accepted. The candidates who have passed I.T.I. from S.C.V.T. are not eligible to apply and no correspondence will be entertained from any person or organization in such applications and no reply will be given. No application will be accepted after last date. Office of the Sr. Divisional Personnel Officer, Personnel Branch/Recruitment Section will not be responsible for late or wrong delivery of postal department at any stage of engagement process.
