Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology (IIFPT) is going to conduct walk in interview for the following posts like, Research Associate, Senior Research Fellow, Junior Research Fellow and Project Assistant. Recently, IIFPT Thanjavur has announced job notification for above said positions. There are 07 vacancies are allotted for this recruitment. Eligible candidates may attend walk in interview on 26th December 2018 (10.00 AM) at Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology, Thanjavur (Tamil Nadu). Above said positions are purely temporary/ time bound basis. Applicants must have completed Ph.D/ M.E/ M.Tech/ Master Degree/ B.Sc form any reputed university. Aspirants should submit the original certificates of their study, age proof, etc. with a copy of bio-data and one set of photo copies of certificates, experience certificate and latest two numbers of colour passport size photograph at the time of interview. Deposit prescribed fee via offline mode only. Educational Qualification
RA- Ph.D in Food Processing Engineering/ / Food Science & Technology/ Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology/ Chemical Engineering (or) M.Tech in any of the above subjects with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from fellowship/associateship /training/ other engagements.
SRF- M.Tech/ M.E. in Food Process Engineering/ Food Science & Technology/Food Technology/Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology or M.Sc. in the above disciplines or M.Sc. in Food Science & Nutrition with NET or Ph.D in the above disciplines.
JRF- M.Tech in Food Process Engineering, Food Technology, Food Science, Agricultural Entomology & Biotechnology preferably with work experience in food.
PA- B.Sc. in Microbiology / Biotechnology or B.Tech. in Biotechnology
Age Limit (as on 26.12.2018)
For RA Post: 40 years for men & 45 years for women.
For SRF/ JRF/ PA Posts: 35 years for men & 40 years for women.

Selection Process
Walk in Interview (Written Examination).
Salary Details
Research Associate
Doctoral Degree Holders- ₹40,000 (in addition 10% HRA on the consolidated amount)
Master Degree Holders- ₹38,000 (in addition 10% HRA on the consolidated amount)
Senior Research Fellow/ Junior Research Fellow: ₹25,000 (in addition 10% HRA on the consolidated amount)
Project Assistant: ₹12,000 (in addition 10% HRA on the consolidated amount)
