     Job notification for Cultural Quota Posts in ICF, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Applications are invited by Integral Coach Factory, Chennai on or before 19 Nov 2018 05:00 PM for 2 vacancies. Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai published notification for the recruitment against Cultural Quota for the year 2018. ICF Chennai invites applications for the position of Percussionist (Mridangam Player) and Musician (Electronic Key Board/ Electronic Pad/ Flute/ Guitar). ICF announced 02 vacancies for Group ‘C’ posts under Cultural Quota. Last date for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti district and Pangi sub-division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep islands is 04.12.2018. Vacancy Details

Percussionist (Mridangam player): 01 Post

Musician Electronic Key Board or Electronic Pad or Flute or Guitar: 01 Post

Educational Qualification

     12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. Mere pass would suffice in case of SC/ST/Ex-servicemen. And Those persons selected as Junior Clerk are required to acquire proficiency in Typewriting of 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi within a period of 2 years from the date of appointment. (or)

     ITI/ Act Apprenticeship in relevant engineering trades.

Age Limit

1. Lower age limit is 18 years.
2. Upper age limit is 28 years.
3. Date for age consideration is 01.10.2019

Application Fee

1. For SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen/ PWD/ Women/ Minorities/ Economically Backward Classes candidates, ₹250/- (Refundable to candidates who actually appear for the selection).
2. For other candidates, ₹500/-.
3. Fee should be in the form of Demand Draft/ Indian Postal Order in favour of FA&CAO/ICF payable at Chennai.

Pay scale

     Junior Clerk, Technician: Rs. 19,900 (Pay Band ₹5200-20200 in Grade Pay ₹1900 in VI PC)

     Eligible candidates may send their application in prescribed format (attached below) to Integral Coach Factory, Chennai on or before 19 Nov 2018 05:00 PM, along with self attested copies of Following documents & certificates. On top of the envelope "Application for cultural quota Recruitment" should be written in Block letters and write the discipline applied for.

Self-attested photocopies of the following documents should be enclosed:-

i. Proof of Educational Qualification I/ Technical Qualification / Typing Qualification (if any).

ii. Proof of Date of Birth (any one of Birth certificate, Std X-TC, Metric mark list).

iii. Transfer Certificate/ School Leaving Certificate (last studied).

iv. SC/ST/OBC certificate.

v. No Objection Certificate if Applicable.

vi. A valid disability certificate (PWD), if any.

vii. Certificates in language other than English or Hindi should be accompanied by an attested translation in English / Hindi.
