General Workman-B Trainee: 122 posts
Chemist Trainee: 13 posts
Operator Trainee: 12 posts

Educational Qualification
  1. Chemist Trainee: Applicants who have completed M.Sc. (Chemistry) preferably in Analytical Chemistry in First Class with 60% marks or equivalent from a recognized Institute for BPCL Recruitment 2018.
  2. Operator Trainee: Applicants who have completed First Class Diploma in Chemical Engineering/ Technology (Full-time course approved by AICTE) with 60% marks or equivalent from a recognized Institute for BPCL Recruitment 2018.
  3. General Workman-B (Trainee)–Chemical: Applicants who have completed First Class Diploma in Chemical Engineering/ Technology (Full-time course approved by AICTE) with 60% marks or equivalent from a recognized Institute for BPCL Recruitment 2018.
  4. General Workman-B (Trainee)–Mechanical: Applicants who have completed First Class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Full-time course approved by AICTE) with 60% marks or equivalent from a recognized Institute for BPCL Recruitment 2018.
  5. General Workman-B (Trainee)–Electrical: Applicants who have completed First Class Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering (Full-time course approved by AICTE) with 60% marks or equivalent from a recognized Institute for BPCL Recruitment 2018.
  6. General Workman-B (Trainee)–Instrumentation: Applicants who have completed First class Diploma in Instrument Technology OR Instrumentation & Control with 60% marks or equivalent from a recognized Institute for BPCL Recruitment 2018.
Age Limit

     Maximum 30 years of age can apply for the Operator Trainee & General Workman B (Trainee) posts.
     The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.

Pay Scale

     The selected candidates for Chemist Trainee and Operator Trainee positions will be placed in Grade IV in the pay scale of Rs 13500-31000 and selected candidates for General Workman B (Trainee) positions will be placed in Grade I in the pay scale of Rs 11500-20000. In addition to basic pay, the appointed candidates will also be entitled for other benefits/allowances as applicable.

Selection Process

     The Selection Process will be based on the basis of Written Test & Skill Test.
