         U.T. Administration of Daman & Diu, Samagra Shiksha, Daman invites offline applications for filling up the Primary/ Upper Primary School Teachers post for 38 vacancies. Applicants posses with qualifications as per the posts & having age not exceeding tan 38 years are eligible to apply. Diu is an island near Una of Junagarh District in Gujarat State. Nearest Railway Station is Delwada at the distance of 9 kms from Diu. But important trains are linked with Veraval which is 90 kms from Diu. A portion of Diu District is on main land which is named as Ghoghla. A small part of Diu known as Simbor is situated in Gujarat at a distance of 25 kms from Diu.

Educational Qualification

Primary Primary School Teachers : Applicants to the posts should be Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and Diploma in Elementary Education OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and Diploma in Elementary Education, OR Senior Secondary and Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed.) OR Senior Secondary and Diploma in Education & Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) & Proficiency in English Language.

Upper Primary School Teachers : B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. and Diploma in Elementary Education

OR B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR Senior Secondary and Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR Senior Secondary and 4 year B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed/B.Com.Ed. OR B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.and B.Ed. AND Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) AND Proficiency in English Language
